Ana Codorean is a Visual Arts Educator based in Brooklyn, New York.

Her teaching practice is centered around culturally responsive teaching, constructivist thinking, and environmentally sustainable making. As an educator, she believes that every student has the innate right and ability to learn, and she seeks to foster creativity in youth.

Prior to teaching, Ana worked as a textile designer. She seeks to intertwine her work as a designer with her current work as an educator by giving students the tools they need to develop their artistic voice and express their ideas through a creative medium. She has been actively involved with Pratt's Textile Dye Garden, working to create curriculum centered around natural dyes and sustainable textiles through the use of local plant matter.
